eFriends of Rotary are meant to focus on service and fellowship without paying International or District dues ($175+)
The same Join Our Club Form is completed with only a $5/year investment. Plus, you are rewarded by saving $500+ over meals at a traditional non-eclub ($10/meal times 50 meetings/year). A photo of a signed receipt labeled eRotary with a value of $5 invested towards doing community service can be used instead of making payment by PayPal. Traditional Rotary members allow us to exist as a club and eFriends help us increase direct service toward creating a better world. Together, eFriends and full members are a team working toward the same goals.
Please remember to record your Acts of Service so that we can measure and motivate others towards action.
Below are examples of "Rotary Friends" defined by other clubs:

Rotary Club of Evesham - Friends of Rotary Scheme
Would you like to support your local community by becoming a ‘Friend of Rotary’?
Would you like to make a real difference in your community?
Are you too busy with family or work to attend regular Rotary meetings or participate as a full member?
Do you enjoy meeting and working with other people?
Then perhaps becoming a ‘Friend of Rotary’ is the answer. Members of the public, both men and women, who have a concern and interest in helping others, can become ‘Friends of Rotary’ and, by sharing in the work of Evesham Rotary Club, support their local community.
‘Friends’ will be kept informed of the club activities, via email and a page on our website, and will be invited to various meetings which are appropriate to community activities.
No membership fees are payable and there is also an opportunity to attend some of the social activities of the club and make new friends, not just with members but also other ‘Friends’.
Our ‘Friends’ will benefit from the following:
* Opportunity to make a difference; contributing something to the community
* Supporting the community and Rotary in areas of their interest; even if their time is limited
* Enjoyment from making new friends and taking part in a safe and friendly environment
* Using your skills and experience that are valuable and needed in our community
* Having fun whilst making a difference and helping to raise money for good causes

FRIENDS OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF GREENFORD
For men and women who want to help serve the community and share our fellowship
A friend of the Rotary Club of Greenford is invited to join in activities of the club as follows:
-Attend selected meetings of the club
-Attend selected social activities of the club
-Assist in fundraising activities and service projects organised by the club
We would welcome the opportunity to share our fellowship and community service with like minded people who for the time being are unable to offer the time and commitment required of members.
A Friend is not a member of Rotary and is not entitled to the rights or subject to the responsibilities of membership. Rather, a Friend has a formal association with the club, which provides an avenue to participate in club activities. A Friend is not entitled to attend any District, National or International Rotary meetings or meetings of other Rotary clubs.
To be enrolled as a Friend of the Rotary Club of Greenford you must be nominated by a member and the nomination approved by the Club Council. After acceptance of the nomination and payment of the subscription, the Friend will be formally welcomed at a meeting of the club.
Subscription will be £20 per annum and will be renewable annually on 1st July subject to acceptance by both parties. There is no minimum attendance requirement at club meetings but it is expected that the Friend will attend at least one club meeting or social event per quarter and undertake at least two voluntary fundraising or service activities each year. Meals and costs of social activities will be paid at the same rate as members.
The Rotary Club of Greenford meets on Thursday lunchtimes at the Bridge Hotel. At least one meeting per month is designated as a meeting at which Friends would be welcome provided they book with the club at least 3 days in advance. Details of our meetings are published at least a month in advance on our website http://www.rotarygreenford.co.uk/diary.html
Rotary was established over 100 years ago to bring together like minded people who might not normally meet each other. It is the largest world-wide service organisation with clubs in almost every country. It is not a political or religious organisation.
